These unique palms, made from fresh and dried plants, combine elements of Catholic ritual, folk craftsmanship, and pre-Christian symbolism. Over time, they have become not only a form of religious expression but also a carrier of cultural identity – so significant that this tradition is now a candidate for inclusion on the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage.
